What is Guarana Seed?
Guarana is a shrub or small tree in the Sapindaceae family, native
to northern Brazil and Venezuela. The seed of the Guarana is a central
nervous system stimulant with thermogenic and diuretic properties.
Guarana is used as an ingredient in sodas and energy drinks. As
a dietary supplement Guarana is used to to promote health and weight
loss; decrease fatigue; reduce hunger; help arthritis; as a nervine
tonic for hangovers, neuralgia and menstrual headaches. Guarana

Guarana contains tetra methylxanthine, a compound which contains
